The first Battle of the new year is always an exciting one. We are entering our sixth year of battles and our community gets stronger with each passing month. Only five days away from the January Battle, the hype is mounting. This month we are expecting dancers from Toronto, Erie, Syracuse and everywhere in between. If you have never been to a Battle @ Buffalo before then you have to come this month.
Starting at 7pm, DJ Simple will keep the music going while everyone arrives creating a warm and fun filled atmosphere. By 8:30pm The All Styles Battle will be under way as each dancer brings their skills to the floor in 1 verses 1 sets until we have winner. Then the B-boy/B-girl Battle will begin. There is nothing quite like the excitement of watching the skill and rhythm of a good breaker. Also a 1 on 1 this month, each round will eliminate a dancer until we are left with the champion of this months’ battle.
