Verve Dance Studio

This months event will be a 2v2 B-Boy Battle/Eight person All Styles Battle and, for the first time, an 8 person Top Rock Battle. With all of this going on I must now enforce the bracket limit.

Last month, more competitors were allowed in the bracket because the event had such a great turn out and I wanted everyone to be able to participate. This month will be different. If you do not get there in time to fill one of the slots then you do not compete. Im sorry…I know people travel far to get down at the jam, but the only way to have any type of organization is to enforce the bracket limit.

If you want to be signed up for any of the battles, post a message on this site or on the Facebook page. Once the slots are filled, that’s it.

Doors will open at 7pm and Battles start at 8pm SHARP. More updates as things progress for this months jam.

This Battle @ Buffalo was one of the best yet! I would like to thank all the people who came out,all those familys that traveld in the cold weather to the jam. I would also like to thank all the crews that came down,with out you there would be no Battle @ Buffalo-especially Canada and Syaracuse. I know ya’ll travel far to get to the jam,thanks for coming down and supporting the scene in Buffalo.

Thank you Pumice T and Clark Dever for all your help with the event. You have both turned on so many people to the Battles with your images. The event would not be the same with out ya’ll! Thank you stacy for the pr and everything you do for the school,Verve loves you! 

As for the Battles this month-Big Rook defended his title and reamains the All Styles Champ for this month. In the B-Boy Battle, Kaos drove a snow mobile down from Cuse and made his way thru the brackets and won this months jam. There were a bunch of crazy battles this month,way to may to mention. Go to the new video section to peep um out. As I get new ones I will post them up daily.

Next Battle @ Buffalo is a 2 v 2 B-boy Battle! So find somebody who can do some damage and get your sets together!  The Battle will take place on Febuary 27 2010 at 7 pm. Practice makes Perfect-See ya’ll at the jam!
